Hyvävainuinen koira ja Reino lähtivät jälistämään karkuunpäässyttä ahmaa. Välillä näytti, että ahma pääsi karkuun ja alettiin ruokatauolle. Koira oli kuitenkin levoton ja niin pyyntiä jatkettiin. Ahma löytyi kivenkolosta, jonne se oli piiloutunut. Pimeään luolaan ei ollut asiaa aseella, joten ahma piti saada esille piilostaan. Reino sytytti tulet ja vuorasi menoreiän näätäverkolla.
