Rakennus oli aikoinaan Nousiaisten rautatieasema, otettu käyttöön 1923. Nyttemmin se toimii juhlapaikkana sekä Aliskulman kyläyhdistys ry:n toiminnan keskuksena.
Aliskulman kyläyhdistys ry on toiminut aktiivisesti Nousiaisissa vuodesta 1994. Suurin projekti on ollut POMO-hankkeena toteutettu vanhan rautatieaseman kunnostaminen vuosina 1998-1999. Vanhan Aseman juhlatilat saatiin käyttöön loppuvuodesta 1999. Vanhan Aseman yläkerta, keittiötilat ja pihapiiri kunnostettiin Asema-projektina vuosina 2002-2005.
Kyläyhdistys osti aseman vuonna 2009.

Nummen silta ylittää Hirvijoen Maskuntien alussa. Hirvijoen Nummen kohdalla ylittävä 1900-luvun alkuvuosina valmistunut kivisilta.
Joen pehmeät savipenkat vaikeuttivat tuntuvasti sillan rakentamista, mutta urakoitsijana toiminut Palon Longin silloinen isäntä hoiti pohjustuksen huolellisesti ja suoriutui tehtävästään muutenkin niin hyvin, että silta kuuluu nykyisin suojeltaviin kohteisiin ja on sellaisena mainio osoitus menneiden sukupolvien kivimiesten taidoista.

Joen pehmeät savipenkat vaikeuttivat tuntuvasti sillan rakentamista, mutta urakoitsijana toiminut Palon Longin silloinen isäntä hoiti pohjustuksen huolellisesti ja suoriutui tehtävästään muutenkin niin hyvin, että silta kuuluu nykyisin suojeltaviin kohteisiin ja on sellaisena mainio osoitus menneiden sukupolvien kivimiesten taidoista.

Description
An account of the resource
Pokkalan pärekattoinen savupirtti on museoalueen vanhin rakennus. Pokkalan torpassa sijaitsevat tupa, tupakamari, porstua, porstuakamari sekä kammio. Rakennuksen vanhimmat osat ovat peräisin 1700-luvun puolivälistä.
Rakennuksessa on asuttu vuoteen 1961 asti. Pokkalan torppa siirrettiin museoalueelle vuonna 1981. Rakennus on saatu lahjoituksena Eino Laineelta.

Aiemmin kunnassa toimineet koulut:
Nummen alakoulu, perustettiin 1904
(Yhdistettiin Henrikin yläkoulun kanssa ja nimeksi tuli Henrikin yhtenäiskoulu, yhdistetty toiminta alkoi elokuussa 2018.)
Paijulan alakoulu, perustettiin 1912
(Lopetettiin keväällä 2019, toimi vielä lukuvuoden 2020-2021 Henrikin yhtenäiskoulun väistötilana ja vuoden 2022 keväällä ukrainalaisten lasten ja nuorten kouluna.)
