Title A name given to the resource Jaakko Juteini Description An account of the resource Jaakko Juteini syntyi vuonna 1781 Hattulan Rahkoilan kylässä Juutilan talossa. Lahjakas poika lähetettiin 12-vuotiaana saamaan oppia Hämeenlinnan triviaalikouluun, jossa Jaakko Heikinpojalle annettiin nimeksi Jacob Judén. Judén säilyi Juteinin virallisena nimenä ja ruotsinkielisten kirjoitusten tekijänimenä, vaikka suomenkieliseksi kirjailijanimeksi vakiintui myöhemmin Jak. Juteini. Juteinia on pidetty ensimmäisenä varsinaisena suomen kielellä kirjoittaneena kirjailijana. Kirjailijantyönsä ohella hän toimi myös virkamiehenä Viipurissa. Jaakko Juteini kuoli Viipurissa vuonna 1855.
