Joensuun Raittiusyhdistys perustettiin vuonna 1884. Aluksi se toimi nimellä Wesa. Yhdistyksen toiminnan tarkoituksena oli ehdottoman raittiuden, terveyden ja raittiiden elämäntapojen edistäminen. Samalla se kasvatti jäseniään vastuuntuntoisiksi kansalaisiksi. Joensuun Raittiusyhdistys perustettiin vuonna 1884. Aluksi se toimi nimellä Wesa. Yhdistyksen toiminnan tarkoituksena oli ehdottoman raittiuden, terveyden ja raittiiden elämäntapojen edistäminen. Samalla se kasvatti jäseniään vastuuntuntoisiksi kansalaisiksi.
